Over the course of the last several years, ASEBP has seen a steady decline in the number of covered members visiting in-person. As such, the decision to close reception has been made.
ASEBP understands the pressures on Alberta’s publicly funded K-12 education sector and acknowledges that we are living in a time of economic and political uncertainty. You can rest assured knowing you can lean on your health benefits to support you through these challenging times. ASEBP is constantly striving to provide value and make balanced decisions about plan benefits and the cost of investing in the current and future needs of covered members.

The aim is to help you access medical specialists and therapeutic providers, then work with your employer and health care providers to help you ease back into a work routine based on medical accommodations.

If you have ever had to go on sick leave due to illness or injury, you know this experience can be overwhelming and happen when you least expect it.
Therefore, starting January 1, 2025, ASEBP will offer to connect you with medical specialists, therapeutic practitioners, and other community support services during your sick leave, to support your recovery and return to work. As part of this new offering, ASEBP will also work with your employer and health care providers to help you ease back into a work routine based on medical accommodations.
