Inkblot by GreenShield, ASEBP’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) provider, rebranded to GreenShield Health. The branding update impacts the look and feel of your EFAP but does not impact existing programs and services.
What’s included with my EFAP?
Your EFAP connects you and your dependants with specialists, advisors, and healthcare professionals – including legal and financial advisors, career coaches, registered nurses, and more – that can guide you through a range of challenges.
Get access to a yearly allotment of confidential support services that include:
Four hours per calendar year
Unlimited
Your yearly service allotment is available to you free of charge. Once all counselling hours are used, you can continue with your chosen mental health professional at a rate lower than the national average and submit your receipts to ASEBP for reimbursement through your extended health benefits or Health Spending Account.
Additional services now available with GreenShield+
Children’s Mental Health: Access Mightier, a game-based mental health program built for kids. Mightier is clinically validated to help all children explore their emotions and build coping skills through play.
Noojimo Health and GreenShield Partnership: Noojimo, in partnership with GreenShield Health, is the first and only all-Indigenous virtual mental wellness clinic. Sign up through your EFAP for culturally safe mental wellness for Indigenous individuals and families.
GS Digital Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: GreenShield Health offers Digital CBT anxiety and depression programs for you to complete at your own pace.
What’s next: Check your inbox
- Eligible covered members received a welcome email from GreenShield Health between March 14 to 17. Your dependants did not receive a welcome email. The welcome email included an organization code which is required to sign up. You will need to provide the organization code to your dependants.
- You will also need your ASEBP ID number to sign up. Your dependants don’t need your ASEBP ID number.
If you don’t receive an email from GreenShield Health, please check your junk or spam folder, as it may have been filtered there.
Accessing your EFAP
To access the services offered by your EFAP, register for an account on GreenShield+.
GreenShield Health also offers a mobile app, which you can find in your device’s app store by searching “GreenShield+”.

I haven’t received a welcome email from GreenShield Health. How can I register?
If you didn’t receive any communications from GreenShield, you can still sign up through the Greenshield+ platform: https://app.greenshieldplus.ca/en/sign-up
Where can I find my organization code to register?
Your organization code will be included in the welcome email from GreenShield Health. If you didn’t receive a welcome email, we can also provide you with your organization code. Contact a benefit specialist at 1-877-431-4786.
I already have an Inkblot account but I don’t remember my login details.
No problem! You can still register for GreenShield+.
To register, visit https://app.greenshieldplus.ca/en/sign-up. You'll then have the option to select whether you're accessing GreenShield+ through your employer/organization or through a family member. Follow the prompts to complete your registration, and you’ll have the opportunity to link your account.
I just started receiving benefits with ASEBP. When will I receive a welcome email from GreenShield?
ASEBP sends GreenShield Health an eligibility roster on the 1st and 15th of each month. This roster includes everyone eligible for the EFAP. If someone is hired on the 16th of the month, they will not receive a welcome email from GreenShield Health until the beginning of the next month, after ASEBP sends the roster on the 1st.
It takes GreenShield Health 5-7 business days to process the roster, so welcome emails for new additions to the roster will go out 5-7 business days after the 1st and the 15th of the month.
What happens if I’m currently receiving treatment-- will my current treatment plan change in any way?
If you are currently receiving treatment through Inkblot, you will be able to continue seeing the same health provider after transitioning to GreenShield+. You can link your accounts when you register for GreenShield+, and your history with your provider will transfer.
All previous messaging with your care provider will also carry over. Additionally, you will still be able to see, book appointments with, and continue working with the health providers you were previously matched with through Inkblot.
