My ASEBP account and mobile app
If you have not done so yet, set up your My ASEBP account and download the My ASEBP mobile app for quick and easy access to information about your benefits, your usage and limits, and to submit claims.
By taking a minute or two to sign up with your ASEBP ID and personal email, you can access and manage your claims from your computer, tablet or smartphone.

ASEBP Benefits
ASEBP’s holistic health benefits, programs, and services support you and your dependants from the first year of your career through to your well-deserved retirement.

Supplemental Plan
- The supplemental plan is available for substitute teachers, casual staff, part-time employees, employees serving a waiting period, and working retirees not eligible to participate in benefits as an employee.




Spending Accounts
Spending accounts are designed to complement your regular group benefits.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Spending account access and amounts are determined by your employer.
01Health Spending Accounts
Health Spending Accounts (HSA) can be used to reduce eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses.
- If you have an HSA, your employer will provide a fixed credit amount (dollars) into your account.
HSA dollars can be used to pay for eligible health-related expenses that aren’t fully covered under your ASEBP benefits or provincial health care insurance plan.
02Wellness Spending Accounts
Wellness Spending Accounts (WSA) can be used to reduce the costs of certain goods and services that can contribute to your overall wellness.
- If you have a WSA, your employer will provide a fixed credit amount (dollars) into your account.
- WSA dollars can be used for:
- fitness, sports and wellness activities, equipment, and programs
- health-related technology such as smartwatches and fitness-related apps
- family care including childcare that’s provided by a third party and caregiver support programs
Your spending account amounts can be found under the benefits tab in your My ASEBP account.
EFAP - Your wellness companion
ASEBP’s Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is included in your benefits, and accessible through a third-party provider, GreenShield.
Your EFAP includes four hours each of individual counselling, couples counselling, health coaching, career coaching, and life transitions,, plus unlimited financial and legal advice. Your yearly service allotment is free with your ASEBP benefits.
Create a GreenShield+ account by using your employer’s organization code and your ASEBP ID number (found on your ID card in your My ASEBP account) to start accessing valuable mental, work, and life health services.

Have questions about your health or medications? ASEBP’s pharmacist offers trustworthy, expert advice so you can make confident decisions and get the most out of your benefits when it matters most. Visit ASEBP’s online booking page to book a phone call or virtual meeting with a knowledgeable benefits specialist.
You can also use the My ASEBP mobile app to connect with ASEBP’s team of benefit specialists by asking a question directly in the app under Contact Us. A benefit specialist will respond to your questions via email or phone within three business days.
