During a labour disruption, questions can come up, including, “Do I have benefits coverage as a covered member during a strike?” ASEBP has been advised that teachers’ benefits will continue during labour action.
Covered members should direct questions to the Alberta Teachers’ Association (ATA) or their employer, as ASEBP is not involved in bargaining discussions and does not have information on details about benefit premium payments or potential bargaining outcomes.
