The Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP) is pleased to announce Jocelyn Plakas-Lock has been selected as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Jocelyn has served ASEBP in several key leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Acting CEO, and Interim CEO. Her appointment follows a national recruitment process aimed at ensuring strong, stable leadership for the covered members and employers ASEBP serves.

Jocelyn brings a collaborative leadership style, strong operational experience, and a deep commitment to ASEBP’s mission and values. Her work throughout the transition period has ensured that operations, service delivery, and strategic priorities have remained stable and uninterrupted.

“Jocelyn’s depth and breadth of nonprofit experience and strong relationship building skills, combined with her 15-year journey with ASEBP, brings the continuity and leadership strength the organization needs,” says Allison Purcell, ASEBP Chair. “Jocelyn lives ASEBP values, champions its culture, and brings trusted experience making her the ideal choice to lead ASEBP into its next chapter.”
