ASEBP is aware that a proposed agreement has been reached between the Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA) and the Alberta Teachers’ Association (the Association) following scheduled mediation. ASEBP understands that part of this agreement includes benefits related to ASEBP coverage. While ASEBP cannot speak to the specifics of the proposed agreement, benefit specialists are happy to answer any questions that teachers may have about the benefit plan. Any specific questions about the proposed agreement should be directed to the Association. Benefits specialists can be reached toll free at 1-877-431-4786 or by emailing benefits@asebp.ca.

Sep. 4, 2024

School is back in session, and making the switch from summertime to a work routine might have you thinking about what you can do to take better care of yourself.

So, why not ask ASEBP’s pharmacist your health and medication questions? Let us point you to helpful information, including what is covered by your ASEBP benefits and other free support offered through the Employee and Family Assistance Program.

ASEBP’s pharmacist will let you know when you should speak with your health care provider or community pharmacist for more information specific to your health and medication history.

Ask a Question

Ask a question and tell us what topics interest you! This month, Ask Our Pharmacist looks at calcium supplements and whether carbonated beverages decrease calcium absorption in the body. Find previous topics on It Takes a Village, including information about Ozempic, Wegovy, the shingles vaccine, and more.
