Education Worker Recognition Week (November 24 to 28) is ASEBP’s opportunity to extend sincere thanks to the people who make learning possible in Alberta’s schools.

Education is truly a team effort, and every role contributes to student success. Teachers, educational assistants, custodial staff, librarians, administrators, office staff, and bus drivers all play a vital role in shaping safe, caring, and vibrant schools.

Across classrooms, hallways, and libraries to playgrounds and school buses, your work helps students learn, grow, and feel supported. The care, compassion, and commitment you bring to your roles every day make a meaningful difference for every student you serve.

Throughout the week, ASEBP will be sharing messages of gratitude on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, highlighting stories about education workers who have made an impact. You are invited to follow along, take in the appreciation being shared, and – if you feel inspired – share your own messages to help celebrate the education workers in your life.

Whether in teaching, supporting, cleaning, driving, or leading, your contribution matters.

From all of us at ASEBP, thank you for everything you do for Alberta’s students and school communities.
